The software is abysmal

The scan results are ok. But the software provided is abysmal. Not the least bit intuitive. Since I have only rarely scan which in the age of digiatlen photography (and the documents hike anyway in the document scanner) I do not keep the steps. Every time I have to familiarize myself with the software again.

Was the old simple (faster pre-scan), then decide which part I want and in what quality ,. the software scans first lot, depending on the button pressed. Theoretically, everything is done so that, practically never. So if I press photo scan, scan the first in good resolution, then I can change and adjust, and then is again scanned.
This takes time and is huge and cumbersome as I said, you never know quite what's going on there.

I would scan frequently, I would have long since changed the scanner or trying to find a software that makes it ergonomic.
I was huge disappointment, the conscious to the HP Quality two predecessor I decided again for HP.
