So now "Write me back". And R.Kelly picks up where he left off. Contrary to go the path, which many former colleagues, namely the beat-pop sound a la David Guetta take up and therefore, partly to make really good music, Kellz tried to "Love Letter" to tie.
But first things first:
1. LOVE IS
absolute up-tempo Swag. He has the Motown track it now. catchy good, consistent and keep the foot while quiet, is hardly possible ...
2. FEELIN SINGLE
everyone who buys at this day in Germany still R.KELLY albums, knows at least the advance singles, I assume times. FEELIN SINGLE is a bit quieter, so he celebrated already overseas a number 1 hit in the RNB Billboard charts.
3. LADY SUNDAY
Again, it remains true to the line. Nevertheless vocally up to this moment of the album strongest and most diverse. Even a little quieter than track 2 but relax and when I close my eyes, I see myself in summer sitting on the terrace, which plugs the MP3 player in the ear and comfortable rockers facing the sea with his foot.
4. WHEN A MAN LIES
Is that so? Start the pacing with the fastest and are always slower? We come to the end finally has somewhere around 12 Play?
WHEN A MAN LIES has a strong, violins (!? Sorry, I'm absolutely not musical) underlaid chorus that goes into the ear immediately.
5. CLIPPED WINGS
Took me at first sound. At the piano, I love him. For this purpose a hard beat and a Kellz of the main focus lays on his voice here. Quick sets the refrain a, polyphonic PiedPiper- also beautiful! Later, a choir, almost a bit exhausting, much confusion. But seems to be intentional.
6. BELIEVE THAT IT IS SO
again a bit faster number. For 6 minutes. Phew, what must come. Sounds good. Where "good" is not Atribut, in which I include a R.Kelly song of the good quality. Is audible and also exudes a good mood, but not really grab me tuts. as indeed the whole album this far is very good, but personally does not reach for me at the TP-2.com's and R's of this world. Oh, a "break" in the middle, making the whole again interesting. But it is already a nice song.
7. FOOL FOR YOU
Give the man ne stage in ner smoky bar in Chicago in the early 80s. This song fits so perfectly into this drawer, it almost sounds as if I had heard it somewhere before. Good Swing, chorus sits 1A, piano and violin (this time I'm sure ^^) go well hand in hand and can not loose to the last note!
8. ALL ROUNDS ON ME
Kellz throw a round? Plant me!
Soulful opener, which opens soon in a Swing Song first order. Here legs have to fly !!! (I came instantly (Johnny B Good - Back to the Future Scene in the head !!!)
The piano solo towards the center puts the whole again to the crown. Class song. And despite Nearly 500 R.Kelly song on the record, that's what fresh again!
9. BELIEVE IN ME
Mr. Weatherman music whispering a intro knows you ... by this album. Slow melody to the chorus towards hard piano included and Kellz in top form. No trace of retro and Motown, goosebumps ...
10. GREEN LIGHT
Could Ronald Isley be. One notices the common past. Slowly, guitar, cuddling, NOW !!! ;)
11. PARTY JUMPIN
connects to ALL ROUNDS ON ME. Another pianist who in good German whoop it can (Was he the self?) To fast rhythms, an almost screaming R.Kelly, who so well can bring really a party going.
12. SHARE MY LOVE
Hach yes, the guitar as Allzweckwaffe- but nothing is so bad. SHARE MY LOVE, knows you well (such FEELIN SINGLE) when the album kauft- if not, still a nice Motown track, danceable and Joa ... has convinced me it a few weeks ago already not, but consistently solid .. ,
13 IN THIS BEAUTIFUL MIRROR
Now it gets quiet again. Despite quite decent beat. This time instruments. The voice of this man is just great, here he shows it again. Chorus reminiscent of Michael Jackson. Is probably no coincidence.
14. YOU ARE MY WORLD
Said I BEAUTIFUL IN THIS MIRROR recalls Michael Jackson. I take it all back. R.Kelly has already made more music in "Jacko" 's style, but here you really have to listen twice. A so obvious and this well successful tribute to the King of Pop, I've rarely heard.
15. FALLIN FROM THE SKY
Slow start, but then made the first time electronic aids to help. Somewhere between HAIR Breader and BANGIN THE HEADBOARD. Has quite Impact and what makes her. However, I'm not quite sure how that fits in here.
16. One Step Closer
The final. Again it gets slow and ends thus in stark contrast to the entrance. Good song. But the good we already had with the. If you have also heard better from Kellz. Nevertheless, a good piece of music.
1:03:07 after it's over then.
CONCLUSION:
So that was it. WRITE ME BACK is out of the virtual turntables, leaving me ... so, how about? The songs were all in order. One or two times goosebumps was also there. Nicely varied wars then also. Overall, a positive feeling. I did not more often when plates appear today. And yet I am a little thoughtful. Maybe it's really these Swing / Motown style, the not really matter to me. Or am I too old to still so much to inspire me for music.
The album will probably be in any case one of the most listened to the year for me. An album about it is no longer though! And that's a problem. Because if an artist had to be measured against himself and then his class that he has manifestly (te) is not reached, there remains a negative connotation.
So now hear another round! :)
