I have just finished reading the first volume of this second book of a tetralogy (rather trilogy) and it leaves me a lasting impression. In this installment, we follow the story of the unexpected youngest daughter of Red and Sorcha Septenaigue: Liadan. As in the first book, the author takes the time to ask his characters and the relationships between them. The looks are of great significance to us to decipher it. The marriage of the eldest daughter is the occasion of a journey during which Liadan is captured by a band of mercenaries in order to treat one of them. His discovery of this world is the backbone of the story. We find ourselves again in a medieval-fantasy celtico lying near the coast of Ireland It is very well written and very moving. I await with great haste Volume 2 and I very much hope that Atalanta publishes two other volumes of the tetralogy: "Child of the Prophecy" and "Heir to Sevenwaters". These books are still little known and should be recommended.
