Here - I hate platitudes - Maestro surpass themselves: such a liquid, Atmospheric was no Barry score.
The title song. Shirley Bassey at her Best An organ before the Lord, full pipe, it interprets a true evergreen. And: the version at the end of the first CD tops: discoflavoured, impulsive beatig and fun promoting.
"Cable Car And Snake Fight" is one of those (bearing) series melodies that do not go out of my head: just the former issue is probably one of the best (next to the "Fella" theme 10 years previously), ever allowed to accompany Bond Action. The thing swings with a vengeance. "Bond Lured To Pyramid" is wonderfully romantic and invites you to dream, while about "Boat Chase", a modernization of the famous "007" theme, showing teeth. Wonderfully worn perfectly orchestrated: "Flight Into Space", another highlight. And: "Corinne put down" - the dramatic laceration of Gepielin is Intrum Animal T here. Likewise immortal (and unique in the Bond universe).
No filler, just hit. For me, the best score since (and after) "Her Majesty's Secret".
A must for the film music lover!
