"Computer World" is mentioned by many as a favorite album, and is one of the meistgesampelten albums ever. I can still clearly remember how the LP was introduced by stunned moderators 1981 Radio ... Today, almost 20 years later and after a wave of techno music, the importance of this electronic, minimal album can not be denied. Knappe texts with typical Kraftwerk humor mixed with a rhythm stressed clearly structured music whose influence persists today. The sounds in the passages of "home computer" and "numbers" are timeless and hypnotic. Not even for 40 minutes and yet so dense plant proposed here a bridge between their "pop album" "man-machine" and the digital era of techno. Here rushes the CD version over the old vinyl something, but musically "Computer World" is still top.
