01) The bitter taste
Immediately after a mehrsekündigem noise put the four Canadians equal their ambitions on the table and show with the usual harsh guitars and vocals that they have remained true to himself. A skillfully staged concoction of tempo changes, and pitch jumps round this song to a more than just good opener 9/10
02) Break
'Break' the first single of this album continues a lot of fun. Rockig, crazy ... in the style of the previous albums heard this power rock track without a doubt one of the best of the album 10/10
03) World So Cold
Although the name might suggest a mourning ballad, hiding behind the title track, a true quiet but partly also rock and provided with edges passages that the overall concept of the title is right again.
Lyrics that act to stimulate thought on closer inspection also in my opinion also not negative. 8/10
04) Lost In You
Tack 04 is the first 'quieter' Album. Please do not misunderstand, this is not to put pressure on the lacrimal gland or possible 'verradiotauglichung', simply a title of more on the content (or message) is recognized as a musical accompaniment to. Despite the message, is missing here just the earwig potential and brand recognition ... and goes among the other high-profile titles, unfortunately, under 6/10
05) The Good Life
In the spirit of the second break excellent Powertrack who really settles after the first hearing in the ear of the listener.
A chorus of the Mitsingens needs and hidden behind the old milestones the band's history as 'Animal i have become' or 'I hate everything about you' must not hide. 10/10
06) No More
Only starts with a playful intro, which runs through the whole track and the lyrics only underlined. Hard to describe, so at this point, please read the lyrics and listen, I think then's clear to everyone ;-)
Do not worry, guitar riffs and Co are of course again with this, but comes by the high standards of the lyrics (which unfortunately is only in a few rock bands) a high rating, although the immediate recognition omitted. 8/10
07) Last to Know
A heart-rending ballad, accompanied by piano.
Unique in this album. The melancholy of this track takes one of the first second ... A really completely successful ballad that alludes lyrically to the dark side of life. 9/10
08) Someone who cares
After the ballad now again something flotterer track. Although the chorus stuck equal and in which one or other encounters personal recognition, is missing here a piece of wide multi-faceted as with other songs 7/10
09) Bully
A title after a few seconds of rest properly on the accelerator pressed ... but unfortunately extremely flattened and is in my opinion the sad culmination of this brilliant album. The chorus sounds for example incidence and emotionless ... unfortunately. Also a really skilful solo towards the end of the tracks can particularly improve my impression unfortunately no longer. 4/10
10) Without you
A soft rock track with some pop rock ambitions ... Although radio friendly, but not corners and angles ... which would make the title a 'typical Three Days Grace' Song ... a pity ... 6/10
11) Goin 'Down
My personal favorite on the album. Starts slowly with successful underpainting ... and then sets the chorus really going on ... Vocally and musically all the highest level and the same as the desire most 3DG fans 10/10
12) Life Starts Now
In the last track, the four guys turn back a gear and let their third studio album 'chilling' end. They let the emotionally gripping content front were very cleverly chosen background music fade and accomplish a really good album 8/10
Conclusion:
In 'Life Starts Now' is pretty much find everything that makes a really successful (alternative) rock CD. Three Days Grace impressively prove on this album that they are themselves remained faithful and just do what they do best.
Namely, good rock music.
Therefore, from me a clear buy recommendation!
Since I can not speak for every single used this personal recession only as a guide. Therefore, any potential customer will get a preview to listen (for example, when plate dealer) and therefore to decide whether it is something for him.
