Do not dream, USB delivers 5V * 1A = 5W maximum so with a cup warmer usb it will never happen to maintain a warm coffee, I bought this after the good reviews I've seen, I read that to have a chance that the coffee stays warm mug of fault it flat bottom and not "bulging".
1 star for the ON / OFF and a second for the simple design
