Bin since 2 weeks in possession of the Senseo Quadrante (White) .Mir like the design very much, who does not like, will probably opt for this little machine. The pad holder remain for round pads. ;-) Pity, I find that the old pad holder are no longer usable. Otherwise, I am thrilled with the machine. The big tank is attached to the side so you can always recognize easily how much water is still in it. Finally, I can also use high cups. You can remove the drip tray, then fit even a large latte macchiato glass beneath it. Here's a tip for milk coffee or latte lovers: milk in large cup or latte glass and add approximately 30-40sec.in Microwave heating (for latte the milk has to be a bit cooler than the coffee, because of the layers) with foaming milk frother. I always use the skimmed milk 0.1% foamed great. Then fill cup or glass with Senseo coffee / espresso. Are you still a shot syrup (vanilla, nut, amaretto flavor) to taste the coffee as the best coffee in town. Good to impress friends ;-) For a cup of the Quadrante 30 needs sec. And 50sec two cups. Had been a "very old" Senseo the quality of coffee has remained the same. But find the comfort and easier cleaning of the Quadrante pleasant.
