Graphics and gameplay have not made significant progress, but are just as they are in order and offer the classic bustling Settlers Feeling.
Although the new features, keep in overall limits, so I think this is the most successful of the traditional settlers games. A very nice feature is the sacrifice site, the can be shortages of certain products offset by sacrifices. This hardly created impasses. Even the (still indirect) fight has evolved. There are melee and archers, the different "ingredients" need, may be stationed individually and are trained in the barracks. The barracks is such a welcome addition that extremely simplifies the management of the military. Unlike settlers 1 Produced locksmith tools in general, which can be used individually. This allows the blade to be grim.
Then there are the three nations, while not differ fundamentally, however, by some of the details have individual strengths and weaknesses, so that the focal points in the production chain are not always the same and you have to adapt to a new people now. For example, the Bavarians need salt for their pretzels, the Egyptians water for their fields and the Scots kilts for their soldiers.
In my view, a very successful game.
