To my mind, one of the best books of K. Dick, with Substance Death. At once one of the most accessible, one of the best written and translated, and more consistent. Besides the incredible atmosphere that takes you to the guts (for my part, I could not help but read it in one go, without the slightest pause). Could not tell it without spoiling the plot, but everything is done to make the trip exciting "time the wrong way." Diffile let go of the book before knowing what that famous Ubik ... Some will prefer one of the other novels and short stories of the more complex and profound author. But it is precisely its relative simplicity makes it so powerful. K. Dick novel has its perfect, is not lost in digression or subplot (which can make its charm but dilutes the plot).
