I use long been Eneloops 2nd generation and have yet to find any other brand the rankommt even close to the quality.
The HR 3UTGB had on delivery about 1500mA - for a refresh cycle they come like the previous generations from 2.07 to 2.14 Ah (at 250 mA discharge).
A drop in capacity after a few charging operations, as with all other battery types previously was or is still, I could not find even after intensive use my now already more than 1 year old UTGAs. Since I have no concern that this could be different with the UTGB.
In summary, therefore, continues to be the benchmark in battery.
Finally, my experience on "real shop":
The key to long-term enjoyment of the batteries is a real charger with single channel control, charging end detection and protection against overheating. Recommendation: Technoline BC-700
The charging current must not be too small, otherwise the charging end is not recognized and the batteries are either "cooked" or are not full. Besides, it comes at too slow loading of crystal formation in the battery. Contrary to the widely held opinion that fast charging is harmful - can be so far from it extend even the lives of its batteries significantly.
Optimal experiences I made with 500mA charging current. At 700mA the eneloops are indeed towards the end a little warmer - what my 4 Test batteries which I invite permanently with 700mA, however, until now has not been harmed.
