The main criticisms were as follows:
- Poorer image quality than my DSLR APS-C format - and between an XM-1 and a full-frame DSLR camera are worlds apart when you look at the pictures in full resolution
- All images without exception had a blue cast (white balance deficient)
- Almost all had pictures with the standard zoom lens on a third of the area of the screen can not be ignored blur - and chosen at all focal lengths
So far so good. Poor quality control in Fuji, such things can happen sometimes. With a detailed error description and images the camera has been sent to Fuji with a request to resolve the two serious errors (white balance and lack of sharpness). Back came a camera with something better white balance and slightly better image sharpness, but the faulty lens has not been replaced, but only repaired. That was not professional.
Conclusion: it was my first and my last Fuji camera. But who is looking for a compact system camera at the same or lower price significantly better image quality, which should look at times Samsung or Sony. I can only advise each of the interested for a system camera, even to make comparison photos with different cameras. The image quality of the Fujifilm X-M1 anyway was disappointing, even though my operating concept has fallen overall.
