1. It may be that it combines with only 10M (100M instead) with the connected router. Thus not even obtained de facto ADSL2 speed.
2. It may be that it connects only with ADSL2 (ADSL2 + instead), and so only 6000 kbit / s instead of the 15000 kbit / s gets.
Problem no. 2 is unfortunately occurred with me. (Firmware recorded information on the underside of date.) The Vodafone EasyBox 803, which was supposed to inherit the modem, has no problems with the connection. A rented Telekom Speedport 200 not well. Only the Arcor DSL speed modem 200 has persistently refused to get more than ADSL2 from the port.
This is doubly bad, because this modem has no diagnostic possibilities on the part of end users. No web interface, no lead-out (serial) debug interface, nothing but the sparse LEDs. Thus it is in this regard a significant setback to the Arcor DSL Speed Modem 50Z (ADSL2).
