In 12v plug is a 10A fuse that when the unit is reaching its performance limit simply goes through. I've tried so inflate the spare tire to 3.5 bar (185 / 60R14) from 3.1 bar I noticed that changes the operating noise and at 3.4 bar the unit has failed because the fuse has blown.
While it is good that the fuse protects the device against destruction, but that leads to so that I can not use the device in an emergency for which I bought the unit mainly unacceptable! Since there are other measures which can protect the Graet against overload, a backup should in my opinion can not be triggered during normal operation. Only when second safety measure (when the first does not apply) may cause a fuse to protect against destruction!
And I also, the operating noise of the device seems a bit noisy as it was my first allerings compressor I have here no comparison.
The tires of my bike has inflated the unit perfectly.
Mir is furthermore also noticed that the machine can choose none other than the current tire pressure. Can leave tire you even without a device, however, is a bit cumbersome appear if you have already a device with which one can set the desired tire pressure by digital display.
The high-tech feeling which has arisen for me through the digital display and the LED light was therefore very disappointed.
On a positive note during the operation took place no appreciable warming. (The operation, however, was rather short total about 2 minutes.)
Overall, the device feels, however, already by the housing, which has been completely made of plastic to very cheap.
The price / performance ratio is therefore for me not met (at the price of about 30).
I have returned the device therefore again!
