Having lots of reviews (per contra un) read about heart rate monitors, I bought through Amazon (quickly and reliably) the Beurer PM 18 and am very happy with it. I use them for Nordic walking and hiking to a pulse of 150, while I come on from time to sweat properly into. The pulse can be measured easily and it takes up during the run. 5 seconds until a value appears. The value will also change continuously, if you constantly lets his fingers while running on the metal frame. So either you have to bathe in sweat during exercise or be hairy as a chimp that the pulse is not displayed, I have definitely no problems with it. A klitztekleiner drawback is that the screen is so small (am no longer the youngest and already need reading glasses with 1.5 Dioprien). But as a small clock has the advantage that it can be kept on all day (the plastic strap causing me no allergies), that they noticed or does without the cuffs on shirt and sweater broken. The financial data about the pulse soft way, only slightly from other pulse measuring from (eg instead of 122 only 121) The handling is easy and the description is very good, just wait, you have to read it. I would recommend this device because at this price, there is certainly not much better on the market. How long it lasts I can not say, because I use it only one month.
