The image quality and color are very good for a 800x600 slab which is sufficient for this application.
So you can settle for pictures in 800x600 only 100KB if you add them manually through the network share offered by the framework.
But you can also send your pictures to your frame Email and online services that the manufacturer assigns an email address, you can also communicate to your friends who may also send their photos you will see scroll across your frame. There is a possibility of moderation pictures emailed activatable choice.
If you send your photos by email or via the online interface builder your images will be automatically resized to an optimal size for the screen to occupy a minimum of space so you can put thousands of images. However, through this, send only a frame at a time if you want it to work, because there is a limit on the size of attachments and that's really annoying.
You also have the possibility to see the weather according to the chosen country, refreshes several times per day.
Other function a little gadget with the ability to listen to Internet radio, coupled with automatic ignition, you will receive an original alarm. But it's still a gimmick, but it's functional.
You can ask this frame on a desk thanks to its removable foot that slightly tilts the frame, as on the promo photo, but it is also possible to suspend the 2 single round head screws, see use a support VESA. In all cases, you have the possibility of vertically or horizontally oriented.
Small negatives:
- A slightly smaller screen (10 ") and a wide angle of vision is not enough for my taste.
- The 4: 3 ratio, not necessarily suited to conventional photos 10:15 require crop the image to fill the screen.
- Not easy to hide the power cable if you want to hang on the wall.
To have fun, but also to offer grandpa and grandma, if they have a wireless Internet connection, you will be able to send them photos of their grandchildren so that they appear on their framework they hit what matter! And even at home or even on vacation with your smartphone or tablet and the dedicated application for IOS and Android, or simply via email, wifi or 3G mobile or other broadband connections.
Anyway, we love it!
