"Like a Dream" is the third partition of the disk simply but subtly played with two instruments Darek Oles on bass (He remained there throughout this disc) and Brad Meldhau the piano. Long bass solos lead us into a melancholy invoice rightly make us love the "daydream" ... it's beautiful, because-it's just simple, not to play! but to listen. (6'52)
The first piece: "November" begins with a short piano-bass duo played electric piano Brad Meldau that leaves much room for the bass Darek but Brad offering us long phrases that remind us much the late autumn wind . Then it becomes more "swing" more syncopated to complete more melancholy and so beautiful! (4.52)
The second "You Do not Know What Love Is" replies between low and swing piano or samba invites us into the "pure jazz" piano with quick panting to let pride to a bass solo piano by throwing blows and taking some notes to the end of a very pleasant way on those rare 7/4. (This piece is a standard of a more classic than others on 6'38)
