On this recording there is nothing to find fault! She is the original German version, which was performed in Berlin in the theater of the West (25 October 1961). And all performers are excellent. And even that Rex Gildo was a crooner, does nothing to the point, because it fills the role very well. I personally appreciate about this recording that it is in the German language, because the are not simply heart-and pain-Reimchen. This is the real thing, you think only of the song: "Just you wait, Henry Higgins" - rattenscharf and hilarious in the congenial translation of Robert Gilbert. That only I forgive a star is because the same recording - the same !!! - Is sold for about half of Amazon. So access in this version: My Fair Lady (unconditional recommendation because this musical is one of the "eternal", whose melodies are now played repeatedly for over 50 years).
