I have seen the film already in the movies and loved the music. At some points I thought, hm ... ok ... Pirates of the Caribbean ... then ... Sherlock Holmes ... Hans Zimmer ?! No, but Hans Zimmer wars non- not quite that one noticed.
The music underscores the outstanding actions in the movie ... if slightly idiotic when Cardinal and King meet, combative at the Musketeers or size occurring as Buckingham's appearance. Everything is very well matched.
However, I regret to say .. the difference to Hans Zimmer is that he makes out of it a song and not only the mere movie soundtrack. As the titles are largely only 1- 2 minutes (depending on the scene in the movie obviously) can not get out as much out of tune it, because the song is over before it has even started, which is a shame because it would have still more may increase.
On the whole, but a great soundtrack, sometimes not but very inspired from the workshop of Hans Zimmer and thus unbeatably good.
