In principle, the system works like this: The bracket is fastened with cable ties on the bike, and put the unit in, until it clicks. To remove one presses down on the tab and pulling the unit out of its holder.
In reality, this is unfortunately out so that this support can not be secure satisfactory on the bike, as the cable tie can not be tighten enough and the rubber mat can serve at best as paint protection, since it prevents slippage in any way.
When I pushed my eTrex 20 in the bracket, the construction already moved threateningly, out of the holder I got my GPS device then no longer, because it is simply impossible in a constantly moving design on the one hand the to generate enough pressure to push the retaining tab on the tab down, and at the same time to produce enough train to get the extremely tight-fitting device back out.
Of necessity I have the cable tie clipped again, and tried again in hand. But even so it was almost only by brute force, equipment and support to separate which case even bent the retaining lugs-down push tab. The eTrex 20 release it while still, but can be but at least more easily get back out of the bracket. To what extent the long-term problems makes remains to be seen, but at a test drive (no off-road) held the bracket.
Conclusion: The attachment to the bike is more than Poor, the connection device holder is firm, but almost impossible again easy to solve, and for the price is much too high.
