The radio was a Christmas present and was very well received! The housing is made entirely of plastic, but you'd never see at first glance. It can be operated with AC adapter or batteries. I regret to say that the wheel seems a bit cheap to set the transmitter and a little "wobbles". Find him still very nice and also the recipient was pleased.
