Preston & Child we once again offer a strong eerie novel that does not spare the faint of heart. I found with satisfaction the inspector Pendergast (read the House of Curiosities), his refined manners, his faculties of deduction and surreal mysterious aura. This dandy FBI is like no other of his associates with his personality and tasty crunchy spread. The reader is drawn in Medicine Creek on the trail of an elusive madman and murderer who develops complex and terrorizing stagings, mystifying all investigators and the people of this remote village. A clever detective story, well translated and removing that provides hours of feverish reading. To read when it's really hot or peak hours of the night.
