Wonderfully crazy and entertaining series in (almost) all about drugs. How to build it, how to sell it, how to build a distribution network to .... and all this without getting caught? Do not ever go with the family Botwin all good, but comedy and drama balance each other, what makes this series so entertaining. Family dramas and interpersonal relationships (yes even sex scenes come before and are very well done) is just little short as well as drug lords fighting for their territories, the Mexican Mafia who interferes in everything or friends the one betrayed to the police for their own profit or impunity. The actors bring everything super authentic over and embody their characters with so much reality that one does not even get the idea while watching, it's just a series. In my opinion, all Klitsches be operated and refreshing but also shown dramatic. From the first minute on, one is feverish with Nancy (Golden Globe winner Mary-Louise Parker) with the full-blooded mother and involuntary drug baroness, who can be so incredibly charming and yet so quick-witted and snappy ... and sticks until in the last season of the series!
