Too big, too dull

I bought this for my protector Canon EOS M. Unfortunately, I did not succeed, despite precise follow instructions to apply the product clean. Why? Because the film is a touch too big. After I had sat and smoothed all three films twice, the result was always the same: In one corner penetrated air under the sheet and lifted off. It would not have hurt the appearance, to cut the product has a tenth of a millimeter smaller. Then it would have fit.

The matt surface is not to be used with the EOS M, since this camera does not have a viewfinder. How am I supposed to focus when the image is not clear?

The set itself is exemplary. Great guide, everything super processed. For my camera it's just not appropriate.
