I put three stars for readers who have not yet addressed this kind of reading and for those who are unaware that fruit and vegetables contain substances (mainly vitamins and minerals) that can be beneficial to health. They will have there a glossary which contains the bases of the domain, easy to read, with some references on the history of the food, the different varieties, some recipes ... Personally, I blame him for being too vague, especially in components (vitamins and trace elements) of each food. When one says, for example, that this fruit contains vitamin C, for me, it is a truism (almost all fruits contain); it might be well to give the exact amounts to the reader to compare, or better still present comparative tables. In this area, I much prefer my old book "Practical Guide to family diet" which outlines specific tables for each vitamin and mineral group. Those who already own works dealing with this subject will be disappointed: nothing new on the horizon and many generalities. For others, there certainly has things to learn.
