Connecting via WPS works fine within a few seconds. and otherwise the combination is actually an ideal couple. The settings of Fritzbox be taken as necessary, automatically by the repeater. and the connection Fritzbox - Repeater - laptop is fast and stable.
Four stars but there are only because the repeater is after a few hours of continuous operation too hot and then shuts down its function or completely ceases.
Then you have to disconnect it from the mains for a few minutes and let cool. After that, everything works correctly.
Oh, and the Fritz box and the repeater will operate with the latest firmware from February 2014.
Addendum:
Since I have no bridge very long distances, I have asked the transmit power of the repeater to 50%.
Result: The repeater is not so hot and the known disconnections are no longer occurred and resetting the repeater was (once not) also no longer necessary.
Update 2: I have times the net transfer rate from the repeater to the laptop measured over a few weeks. She is +/- 2 Mb / sec., And even though I have connected to a VDSL connection 50,000 the Fritz box and the receiver on the laptop is 5 bar.
