It is right after book 7 and slowly we learn what happened to the couple before they met Jensen. It also includes finally why the author tells us all the time of the goat.
The Seeker of Truth is far from the front lines - to the chagrin of their allies. Zedd has much to do with Jaggang but (re) arrival of Rachel and her adoptive father make me put great hopes for the future (I love this small). But then the adventure of the Seeker? Nothing to do it bores me. Mainly because this ideology blocking me and seems inseparable from Richard. I almost want to follow more closely the war - because at least there's intentions are clear.
That said I am wrong language, it's been awhile since I had not touched the series and this volume has allowed me to return quietly in, and even make me want to read more. Which is very good sign.
Well, not at the height of my favorite tomes (4 and a bit 1 and 6) but not bad :)
