We have a very large house and take 15 smoke detectors. Since we wanted something reasonable and wanted to prevent false alarms due leinhaft mounted by us on unfavorable places smoke detector, we have turned us to the electrician of our trust. So we arrived at the more expensive Indexa wireless networked smoke detectors. After 4 months we had the first false alarm. To date, a 3/4 year after installation, there are already 7 false alarms. Our electrician has even earlier often built these smoke detectors and never had problems with it, according to his statement. According to our present experience, I can only advise. The false alarms are of course very noisy and frighten our children, because it might nevertheless times be a real alarm. The only positive, so far there was only the alarms in the early evening hours. (All theories about drafts ... are pointless, because false positives happen regardless, and so far in 4 different detectors.)
