I suggest you cut two pieces 2cm stiff and bare electrical wire, wrap the receiver for son around each of the two pieces, and shove these two pieces into the remaining space in the profile where the iso out power supplies that go to your son autoradio.Protégez all with black electrician's tape. In short not top, a little too rough DIY. A small battery in the receiver portion would be more useful.
