We needed a grid, so that the children can not walk to the kitchen, but the view is not denied to them. However, our kitchen door is narrower than normal doors, so this guard not fit between them. However, the two outer parts fit exactly on the door frame that we had the idea to remove the screw parts. After that, we pierced the door guard and screwed it directly to the wall and door frame.
