Product purchased to complement my SLR for photos in the mountains, under water etc. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews on earlier versions FT3 / FT4 and the significant number of failures during of use in salt water, but the optical quality attracted me and I thought that Panasonic was certainly well noted and corrected defects détanchéité earlier versions. Furthermore I am always very careful with my material, so by following all instructions in the manual (not more than 60 minutes under water, not under 13m immersion, rinsing after use at sea, etc.) I thought to immune to any concern.
Unfortunately after the 4th day of use under water in snorkeling (never more than 3m deep, and never more than 30 minutes), it does not light and gives no sign of life. The only good news is that the memory card is intact and I was able to get photos taken before the sudden death of the handset.
Also seen the other reviews of the Panasonic inclined fable to repair this type of breakdown for appliances still under warranty, send it to jhésite technical center at my expense. I'm also curious to read other comments future buyers, especially after a real adventurer use at sea. And good luck to all
