Got the Intel 520 gained with 120GB hard drive as a system for Win7. Between HDD to SSD are here really worlds. The response is simply sensational. Programs (Office 2010, Adobe, Corel, etc.) start immediately after clicking, games load very quickly, the quality of life on the PC has improved considerably here. I now see only what a bottleneck HDDs are.

There are out there now a totally confusing range of SSDs with many pros and cons. The endless benchmarks with partly synthetic results make the choice even more difficult. I have therefore decided for two reasons for Intel - Compatibility & 5 years warranty, in spite of the significantly higher price. I have the SSD running on a Gigabyte P35-DS4 Intel ICH10 controller on, Core2Duo E6750, 4GB RAM and so far can not find eiziges problem.
