Got myself this player as a replacement for my old Denon. He had for many years made his service, but the drive was over time getting louder and the sampling rate and quality of scanning has waned. So I needed a new. The front panel is made of brushed aluminum and makes a high impression. The charge for the CD's, however, is made of black plastic and looks cheap. For me crucial in the first place, however, is the sound and the price at 160 just is optically not splashing around. For the sound Denon's classic good and warm. Who cares for his CD's and is protected from scratches with this unit have a total pleasure, because it reads any CD and plays. The correction is very good. No jumping, no scratchy sound. The features on the CD player is spartansich. For the remote control is great. This even can dim the display also. However, one must sit relatively close to the display, since otherwise very difficult to detect, which runs current track straight. A headphone jack does not have this version. Have these players since 4 months quite frequently in use and so far no problems. Other components of Denon (amplifier) I use for years and am very satisfied. Perfect price / performance ratio. Great sound and quality at an attractive price. The amplifier from Denon to this series may I also recommend, because the components are perfectly matched and form a harmonious, warm sound. Heco boxes round out the overall picture with me and perfectly match the components. Strong buy recommendation. Update: Some reviews report that there is no switching on and off are in this player or missing power button function. That's not true. The player turns off after 30 minutes of non-use automatically, even when the power button is pressed. One has only then the next time you turn on the device, press the power button 2x, then everything goes as usual. It can be switched off manually shutdown with the power button before the 30 minutes. Hope this entry brings clarity. Enjoy listening to the favorite CD's.
