Bought that afternoon in a well known brand furniture: 12! Without bulbs certainly. Beautiful lighting mounted in seconds: a breeze, simply screw the tips, no need manual. I slammed the first bulb (workmanship of that?) Holds well, just not to upset anyway. It will allow me to enjoy many a soft recliner brand new and also read my library! Watching TV and listening to music. Cheaper also to illuminate a large room with low energy bulbs. No dimmer and finally the better, pure and simple useful object no frills. I recommend
