The device works great with Nokia (S60) and Android phones. For both devices, there is the free software RaceChrono.
With one very good performance on a Nokia test such as 0 to 100 kmh or 100-160 kmh and many other speeds can be measured, and the measure of 1/4 mile times is not a problem. Since the Qstarz BT-Q818 XT with an update can measure speed of 10Hz, all times measured times to 0.1s accurate. Fantastic Thing :)!
On Android phones is currently unfortunately only measuring the lap times on racing circuits possible (this is with Nokia phones, of course, also possible), but they can but just about turning on all the circuits which are their rounds and measure the exact sector times with speeds driven and evaluate over the phone or later on the PC!
