Top hardware but software has potential

Look and feel is top notch.
The display reflects indeed but not too disruptive in operation.
Legibility is itself absolutely great in the sun.
Since my Urban or the Garmin can keep up the acquaintance not rudimentary.

Installation is perfect for me because Compatible with the old system. (Refers to the 4 screws)
Although the rotating mechanism contributes something on but overall the Rider is not 400 higher than the Urban with holder.

Unfortunately, there are for me a couple of criticisms.
What is clear is that it is an entirely different generation of software.
Says, "Man" must also be willing to adjust to the new.

Annoying is the example of the routes Import / Export currently probably only goes through the SD card.
That would not be so bad if this were not so a fiddly thing.
Possibly is still refills here on MYDRIVE so that the existing USB port for work.

Is also worth knowing that is not the operation of the display with gloves easily.
If the finger in the glove have a lot of air to the glove tip, the device reacts rather badly.
Press courageous solid or tighten the glove over the fingers, helps.

But what I personally really miss is "Skip next point" function
This is currently almost impossible with gloves.
There is already a kind of quick menu for sound on / off or display day / night mode.
Here's a great icon for this particular function would greatly help.
Each of the plans its routes and then forced a detour to drive, this function is loved.
On the Urban the tap were exactly 2 times on the screen and without pause.
Now this is only possible via this sidebar.
This is with the glove, at least for me, not to use.

But exactly this lateral bar / timeline is an absolute highlight.
With a glance I see, comes as another Tanke and indeed as far about.
When is the next break point etc
Perfect for me as moped riders, the pro tour very often times need a minimum of 2 tanks.
Is still honing their software, it is 5 star value.
But as I have just too many easy technically regressed against the Urban accept.
Please do not misunderstand, of course you can delete the Rider 400 points.
Currently it looks like this.

Stopping, glove. (The icons in the bar on the right are just too small)
Tap with your finger "pi times the eye" in the position of the timeline.
This Zooms apart and you can now tap the point exactly with your finger.
(The icons are not greater)
The map zooms to the point on the route (class !!!)
There .. pitch .. Issa away ...
Glove on ...

I realize that there is a new generation.
Also I have to adapt myself / get used.
But, at least for me to do without important functions is difficult for me
especially since it already existed but the function (s) in the predecessor.
