I bought this TV because I was looking for something larger! Previously I had a Samsung 40Zoll the 6500 Series (400Mhz Led 3D) and was a bit spoiled by the colors
and wanted to not deteriorate)
So already watched a few hours in retail warehouses and compared (USB stick with filming 3D / HD).
I wanted 3D watching movies without headaches and without Flackern. Also was only the passive 3D glasses in question.
So my first impression when unpacking (cheap remote control / did not work) and at first start-up (Bildqaulität bad) was initially disappointed!
The default setting of the image is useless ... BlocKbildung..Pixelig ..! Since I was something better to expect from Samsung.
Thought was already there ... send the TV back,! (((

After Software Update and various settings (setting I will post here): sharp, contrasty and colorful even in the SD area.

Sound:
----
The sound is better than my old (1year) Samsung.
USB / HDMI devices:
USB not tested. Was my Linux satellite receiver detected and stored: HDMI.
Software / Smart TV:
--------------------
Smart TV is the Philips even faster than the Samsung (6500), the software has a simple setting menus.
Features:
---------
Plus the Ambilight ... super thing! Incl. Playstation3 free as a bonus!
Negatives: cheap remote control ... did not work
Conclusion: Best Picture (off Pixel Precise HD ...) (in 3D mode), if you changed the default setting
Software could / be better a bit nicer, but is ok! And the remote control is Gruselig..echt cheap.
Not quite 5 star - 1/2 star deduction for the remote control and because the default settings (image) is no good!
