Musically I give the album 5 stars the CD Mastering 1 star, the bottom line is 3 stars. It is difficult to penetrate under the sound disaster for musical quality. Unfortunately, the production was a victim of the so-called "Loudness War". In counterproductive delusion, everything (to put it simply, to a consistently high volume) to maximum loudness to trim the pieces was the important musical element taken momentum. To achieve this goal actually unnatural, the production was (not to be confused with data compression in MP3) driven by excessive compression of audio levels almost to the wall and thus sounds monotonous, tedious and nerve-wracking at the same time as well. The wonderful music was destroyed by the production in my eyes. I envy anyone who can live with it. But to me the pleasure of the CD is denied, it is hardly listenable for me. Lack of dynamism and constant distortions make the disc a misery, I have the CD returned. I bought in the hope of a better quality version of the 24bit (highresaudio.com) this is worlds better than the CD. (Less loudness, more details, less distortion) Values drive industry, why is a decent mastering not even with the CD possible a technical problem or have wanted? Hopefully the music industry's eyes will eventually open and it is again produced reasonable ..., otherwise eventually remain the customers away pay money for music. No wonder that the record undergoes a renaissance because it is there for technical reasons not possible to trim everything in loudness as in the CD.
