The pedal is certainly the price value for money (each g less weight costs fairly accurately 1). On my other bike I have the XT-pedals (SPD PD T780 - a page "click" a page normal pedal) and the XT-bearing rotating clearly felt lighter. I had read in a description, the storage of the M540 would be the same as the XT pedal that I doubt, however. If I can find a reason to replace, I will again buy the good old XT-performance - but until then I drive the M540 continues, those are really great pedals. The screw for adjusting the release tension snaps in very fine steps. This can be use to left and right to adjust the release force equal but is especially great if you the release tension at all wheels equally has (until I was thinking "oh, now racing, now turning with much force to the side" I'm already on the ground).
