I used until recently two different phones: a private and a second career. After my Samsung Galaxy S2 did not work on the ground for nearly 4 years and ultimately violent collision, I searched intensively for several days for a new smartphone with dual SIM function. Unfortunately I have not found any matching products at the renowned manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, HTC) and so I am after hours of works by countless technical data sheets sometime on the Alcatel One Touch Idol encountered X + 6043D (Dual SIM). The unit had - in my opinion and in advance of the order - relatively good technical properties, compared to other products, especially in terms of the price (300, - instead of 500 to 700 at Galaxy S5, Iphone 5S, HTC One). It is important to note that all of the known devices of the major manufacturers do not have the dual SIM feature function, which in my view is a major drawback. I have now since 06.16.2014 This new smartphone and can only say one thing about this: absolutely great, and highly recommended for this price. I work in the fruit industry (sales) and use the phone quite often to make phone calls and to read e-mails. The endurance of the battery, which was assessed negatively in some reviews, is quite satisfactory in my opinion. Even with intensive use and frequent phone calls I'm loose 1,5-2 days out come (note: at night I turn the unit off). Certainly there are some points of criticism (not expandable memory, battery permanently mounted) but I think the positive arguments outweigh by far. The device is built very solid (the two SIM slots), the camera and the display have a very high resolution, the contacts can be assigned to a specific SIM card (private contacts with the private SIM card, professional contacts for companies sim card), etc. Let's see if the smartphone from Alcatel even after 2-3 years running properly. At the moment I would buy it all again myself. Absolutely the right choice, especially if someone has a dual SIM feature required. Apple probably has therefore brought not a smartphone with dual SIM on the market, because they assume that brand loyalty Apple customers buy a second iPhone. Anyway, I'm switching to Alcatel, have the iPhone 5 back to my employer and run since only around with a Smartphone! This saves even the annoying lugging around two chargers and charging of two phones at most totally different times.
