Operating System:
This in version 10.2 is intuitive by swiping
and easy to use.
Only if you want to make one or the other setting quickly, you realize that these are partly hidden and confusing nested.
Since Android is logical and simpler design in the pure vanilla version.
Display:
Although the Z30 with 5 inch "only" a HD resolution and thus is purely encouraging paper behind the competition, one has to say that the display is razor-sharp and the colors represents perfectly the AMOLED technology.
The only thing you could complain about is that it's too dark even at the highest setting.
When Z30 is so bright at the highest setting, as other other at 50%.
Processor & work pace:
Again, the BlackBerry is encouraging paper behind the ANDROID competition.
But you have to say quite clearly that the BlackBerry OS does not require a quad-core processor and the manufacturer obstruct their Android devices from pure marketing the most powerful and new 4-Kerner, although ANDROID requiring at all.
The best example of this is the almost 2 years Google Galaxy Nexus, the absolute and so smooth running with a dual-core processor that the Galaxy S4 owners the tears come.
The BlackBerry Z30 also running as fast and smoothly that it is a pure joy to work with him.
Memory:
Of the 16 GB total memory remain less memory for the operating system to around 11 GB left.
However, the memory through micro SD cards with max. 64GB to be expanded.
Battery:
With its 2,880 mAh battery, the Z30 is a true endurance runner against direct competition and shows that the BB 10.2 less on battery pulls, such as Android.
After calling, SMS or WhatsApp-tap, surf and the odd gimmick, shows the battery in the evening around 60%, while other devices at the same time "beep" after the outlet.
Housing & processing:
The 5-inch devices are all moving at a similar level.
But the extent of the BlackBerry Z30 should not so easily be underestimated.
When you see it for the first time and it then takes the hand, you will almost and literally "killed".
It's bigger than einSamsung Galaxy S4 and the already chunky Sony Xperia Z. As the new flagship Xperia Z1 of the Japanese is actually even greater than that of Canadians.
Add to that the 170 g weight that make the big housing the entire operation by swiping a hand and almost impossible, or at least uncomfortable.
For the BlackBerry spoils the user with a clear, rich and sufficiently loud sound from the speakers.
However, the earpiece volume is too low. If you are staying outdoors with bissl ambient noise, the interlocutor is still difficult to understand.
About the materials and their processing, there are no grounds for criticism.
The processing is at the highest level. Nothing is loose or knarrzt. The back looks also very classy, feels high-quality and has a downright anti-slip safety.
By contrast, the silver frame made of polycarbonate (plastic), which runs from the bottom once the housing fit, not really about the so noble-looking appearance.
Just as the cover on the left side, which is no real coverage, as have other smartphones.
Which hides the slots for the micro-SIM and Micro-SD card. But you can not open the cover from the outside, as an integral part of the removable back is not 100% flush with the housing.
Conclusion:
The BlackBerry Z30 is undoubtedly a great good smartphone that does not have to hide from the direct competitors like the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z1 or even the iPhone.
The operating system is huge and is really fun. Meanwhile, there are also many, and especially useful apps that it should go in the new OS version 10.2, and the easier conversion of Android apps faster uphill.
A few of the criticisms should be well eliminated by firmware updates.
Otherwise, the two points relative to the housing, complain at the highest level.
Me personally disturbs the size and the relatively high weight when I hold it in your hand or in your hands.
Although the size is due to the wide margins that are important for swiping operation.
My path is likely to lead to indeed older but for more delicate Blackberry Z10.
