ATTENTION: Please note that the Rode M2 is a condenser microphone and this requires phantom power !!!
I connected this microphone to my Behringer QX1202, you can switch a compressor to then raises again the sound quality, but you should be careful that you do not get too turned up on the compressor.
The build quality is absolutely top, the on / off switch is very well and does not wobble, the microphone is very good in the hand and feels absolutely high quality.
A little accessories you get even, for example, an adapter plug, a microphone holder, as well as a bag made of artificial leather. Those looking for a good microphone, which is cheap and still provides high quality, which can at the Rode M2 safely access.
A sound test from Rode M2 is available in my video here.
Have fun listen.

Unfortunately, there is now but a little criticism from me. The microphone distorted at close miking the sound, I can indeed the Bass take out but then the sound is simply too thin. The bass boost at the close miking is just too strong, this distortion is unfortunately too much to listen to the recording and therefore I can otherwise really good microphone does not use for my purposes.
However, I leave the assessment at 5 stars because it is a very good mic, price / performance is also very good. The problems with the Mic are indeed brought to me and I just bought only the wrong microphone.
