Supplied with a clip to hold it in lavalier microphone (not used for now) and an extension cable, allowing (in my use case) to put behind the GoPro camera. Not tested in real but only static before one of my next mountain biking, skiing, Embedded on auto / motorcycle etc ... I visited my gopro account did not come out all the time real stereo (sound balance is slightly off-center, I can not tell if it's the microphone but I guess it comes from my old camera (the entrance Micro looking a little 'cheap': I actually lost like some other embedded microphone, This is not a problem in my case but that requires me to use the external microphone now permanently. - the replacement of the camera will be early in the opposite case one day ...) in any case the result is interesting and better than the internal sound. I drilled my original box (with another closed box for diving) and set the microphone on the back, the microphone accommodated a homemade windshield and the sound is always audible in extreme conditions.
Compact (as then the sony like him but never owned since found now ...) it is lightweight and will not weigh too the camera. If you ever want to use it on a GoPro Hero 3 or later, it will require buy a mini usb- cable> cinch. Not too many choices in external mics currently under known brands (Olympus is pro in the field), so this microphone makes sense when one looks compact and powerful.
