Top sound, weak App

Have the Docking Station are now on my bedside table since about two weeks and use it every night for listening to music and cell phone battery (HTC Desire Z) load and leave every morning to wake up.

1. unit:

Positives:
- Good / High-quality workmanship
- Incredible sound for such a small device, Crystal clear sound, good bass
- Stylish Stylish design
- Adjustable brightness
- Adjustable USB Anschlus
- Phone is firmly seated on the device

Negatives:
- Very fiddly to get to part of the mobile phone on the dock -> Unattractive scratches in the mobile phone
- Time lighting unfortunately can not be opened (but should fold update, not tested)
- Only works with Bluetooth connectivity
- Sorry, no Audio In function via AUX cable would extend the functionality of the device enormously
- Only for Android devices (users with multiple phones, each would need a new dock)

2. Software
The dock ONLY works on Android to download the Phillips Fidelio app

- App crashes often from
- App is confusing
- Alarm function is strictly only possible via the app

Conclusion:

All in all a surprisingly good device, it fulfills what it is: a cell phone to play music!
