I also can not understand the bad reviews.
The film gives an excellent insight into the life of the fishermen again. He adheres very strongly to the facts and brings astonishing much tension out. I have repeatedly analyzed the film and can comment on the various computer effects only as perfect as that they are not known even after repeated reputation as such.
The actors play their parts well, the selection has been successful.
Wise, the DVD is all, especially the so-called additions to (among other things director Wolfgang Petersen commented the entire movie) to be missed on any case !!!
A pity that this film was not the attention that he deserves ...
