Runs perfectly and is very user friendly.

I once had a 4-bay NAS from QNAP at the office in the use of IT has created me, and it has been a nightmare to use the thing. The DS414 is the exact opposite, and the label "Plug and Play" deserved easily.

The transmission is a dream, I use it for video production and even have time worked right out without noticing the DS414. The umshiften of projects of 50 + GB is lightning fast thanks to Gigabit LAN and is completed within minutes.

The only drawback is that you can not format in HFS Plus file system, the hard drives, the NAS would make the almost perfect.

I would DS414 any friend who needs a NAS.
