"Led Zeppelin II" is for me the best disc of the band with Jimmy Page. Aside from the hit and first Hard Rock history "Whole Lotta Love" (some experts say it is "You really got me" Kinks) there are pieces on this CD absolutely great (Ramble On - The Lemon Song or Moby Dick and Bring It On Home). Obviously everyone will tell me, "Led Zeppelin IV" with the hits "Black Dog", "Rock And Roll" and "Stairway To Heaven". Despite the high quality of this disc, I prefer simplicity and raw apple Sound "Led Zeppelin II". In any case, this essential group in rock history will remain with a few others: "Deep purple", "Black Sabbath" or "Alice Cooper" as the pioneers of hard rock. Anecdote: I just learned that Jimmy Page was holding the guitar on "The doll makes no" Polnareff. Needless to say that I love this record and I recommend it.
