- The installation is simple and foolproof, but the station sorting is still a nightmare: I was just pleased that you no longer need to self-provide "free program numbers", but the device does so choose (channel, program number assigned if not free, then the two channels are easily replaced), but it's still difficult. Samsung makes it here before: unloaded, edited on the PC, Reloading
- Order the transmitter, the channel list will sometimes leave for no apparent reason, so laboriously re enter again
- The remote control has a very spongy pressure point and the unit responds as delayed inputs that pressing part repeatedly because you have the feeling, the command has not arrived
- After switching on the TV set needs - even if the image is already there - still around 60 seconds until you access the menu, previously a loading bar appears instead
- The menus themselves act indeed cleared, but there are none of the menu Punke explanations of what lies behind the many acronyms and what changes brings an enable or disable an entry
- The manual is more or less just a Erstinstallationshilfe, the explanation of the aforementioned menu items can not be found here as well
- The "power light" on the device front right seems that this is a power switch to turn the unit off completely - it is not, it is "only" a light, an "all" button is missing
- All SmartTV functions act unsorted and mixed up, what sense have the 4 "Mii" -like characters in Smart menu is just as unclear as the menu is sluggish and the screen after completion of one or other SmartTV function remains black and only after approximately 30- 60 seconds at all responded again.
- Access to an in-home network media server though works fine, but the road is very complicated by the menu, which has the competition much better resolved
- Playing MKV files from the media server is not a problem, DivX / Xvid goes from there not (but directly from USB)
- Transparency and display time of OSD information (eg after program change) are not adjustable
- From time to time there have been glitches, partly for about 40 seconds (that may well hang on a poor signal quality, but if for example the ZDF HD times 1 of 5 bar are there and shortly afterwards 4 of 5 I find the behavior of something strange)
+ Naming the input channels with the possibility of connections to "skip"
+ Rich picture with very bright colors and well-lit panels
+ Chic design of the device, which does not work so cheap in my eyes, as described by other reviewers
+ Very rapidly and more clearly EPG
All in all outweigh the negative aspects and grade the matter with the incredibly high latency in the remote control and the non-playing AVI files of our media server are points that let me avoid Toshiba devices in the future. When one sees how the super hammer out the competition from LG and Samsung, which unfortunately is quite a damning indictment
