This is a very good book, addictive as hell to boot. The history holds the road well and keeps the attention throughout the story, although the scenario seems familiar to us and warmed. The characters are endearing, tender and tempestuous, cunning and loyal and funny. The world itself is well supplied and friendly. The slightly more risqué scenes are delicate and delicious to read. While there are indeed tougher, dark and violent. Nevertheless, they reflect the reality of war. I totally recommend to anyone looking for a book to the fire, they will ship in no time.
