An influence on an audible sound quality is imperceptible to my audiophile system of mine. Have several different USB cable used or tested, is no difference. Even my neighbor with a high-end system could hear no difference in sound out. Have therefore decided to use this reasonably affordable cable - and is good. Seemingly have "digital" cable, so cable digital signals pass (USB, Toslink, Coaxial cable), no decisive influence on the sound quality. For analog cables (eg speaker cable) I have, however, able to perceive differences. In such comparisons, but you should definitely sufficient break-in period, which may well be several days in mind. But again, the audible differences in increasing the upper price segment falling from marginal. From about 200 to 300 euros per three-meter speaker pair cable, it becomes difficult to perceive audible differences for me. Whether it sounds even worse or better, is not unique - often just different. But as I said in the digital domain (here for example USB) I can perceive no differences.
